2025 Winner: Maryann Bruce

The inaugural Leadership Award was established in 2022 in honor of business leader and impact philanthropist Adrienne Arsht. This award recognizes a person or persons who, over time, have personified extraordinary leadership under challenging circumstances. The recipient(s) possesses unique and exceptional qualities which inspire and motivate others to achieve their fullest potential. The award identifies individuals of great character, moral courage, and tenacity. These luminaries are committed through their acts to inspire others to follow in their example.

This year, we are honoring an individual whose major accomplishments—through hard work, determination, and a commitment to excellence in everything that she has undertaken—are those qualities that drive a young woman in the sport of wrestling. Her exemplary career is a model for our sport and an inspiration for all current and future athletes and wrestlers. She is a "guardian" and a model for our sport and our movement ahead.
