Victoria is a social media expert who dual majored with a B.A. in Media and Communications & B.S. in Sports, Entertainment, Event Management, and is a gender equality and equity advocate. She got promoted to the Media and Communications Manager for Wrestle Like A Girl (“WLAG”), after completing her dual internship with both Wrestle Like A Girl and USA Wrestling’s Media and Communications teams, respectively.  

Victoria was a Div. III soccer player at Johnson and Wales University before suffering a career-ending injury in college. As a side-lined student-athlete, she focused on her studies where gender imbalances in sport + media were glaring, all the while knowing this was an area she could affect positive change. Victoria brings a refreshing lens to wrestling and sports that incorporates devoted passion for gender equality and equity for girls and women.  

Victoria grows awareness and educates a global audience on the status of women’s wrestling through advocacy, compelling visual storytelling, and large-scale campaigns. Her hope is to inspire others to join the female wrestling movement, now the fastest growing sport in the U.S., revealing the promising future for all who are impacted by the beautiful sport. She believes sport builds champions and shapes leaders that the world needs living by the motto, “This is Bigger Than Wrestling”. 

Victoria is always looking to advance her knowledge in wrestling + gender + media space with educational opportunities, summits and symposiums, while continuing to grow and give back through the game she first fell in love with as a youth soccer coach.  

While attending, Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colorado, she was a 3x NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, was named 2018 College of Arts and Sciences Student of the Year, Sports Editor for the school paper, while leading as the Captain and Goalkeeper for the Wildcats. She is a USAW Copper and Bronze certified Wrestling Leader.  

Victoria is family-orientated Los Angeles, CA native, who loves photography and surfing. Warm weather, sunshine, and the outdoors are always preferred. She is the proud owner of Astro, a 3-year-old German Shepherd and Husky, who also prefers warm weather, sunshine and the outdoors with the occasional dog treat.
