Empowering Girls and Women Through the Sport of Wrestling – 50 Years of Title IX.
America’s future is female! Wrestle Like A Girl is hosting the 2022 Congressional Wrestling Caucus + Girls Wrestling Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Title IX. Leading a delegation of up to 140 girls from key states, we will support these student-athletes, our future leaders as they use their voice to advocate for increased support and opportunities in sports in their home states. Girls Wrestling Advocacy Day will support the development of critical leadership skills needed to unlock and leash the potential of America’s future leaders.
Focus:
Advocacy meetings with Members of Congress from the 14 unsanctioned states. The girl wrestlers will advocate for increased opportunities through legislative support. The athletes will lead the conversations!
